The Basilica – The church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This was the Parish church of the Pope to be, where he was baptized and served as an alter boy. It is a beautiful and well kept Baroque church located right next door to John Paul’s house. Inside the building you can see the baptismal font at which the Pope to be was baptized.
The Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sanctuary – Poland’s first Calvary Sanctuary featuring the 17th Century Baroque church of the Angelic Mother of God and the adjoining Franciscan monastery. The Kalwaria Sanctuary an important pilgrimage for Catholics and also the place of the Virgin Mary’s cult.
